France\u2019s Melanie Pugin won on the second day in the Women\u2019s Elite category, while Karim Amour won on both days in the Men\u2019s Masters category.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a fantastic performance by the BH Racing Enduro Team riders in Canazei (Italy) who achieved victories and stood as leaders of the overall standings in the Women\u2019s Elite and Men\u2019s Master categories. Melanie Pugin had two excellent days of racing, winning four special stages to take the overall lead in the Women\u2019s Enduro World Series. In the first race Pugin came in 3rd, 14 seconds behind the winner, while in the second race she won by 35 seconds. Melanie Pugin now leads by 50 points after the first two rounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile her teammate Karim Amour also delivered two great performances, winning in the Men\u2019s Masters category on both days with a lead of more than a minute over his rivals. Amour set the best time in 9 of the 10 special stages over the two days. As a result, Karim is the clear leader in the overall standings by more than 200 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Men\u2019s Elite category, Frenchman Damien Oton (Orbea Fox) finished 8th in the second race after a comeback in the final special stages. Also noteworthy was the 12th position achieved by Polish rider S\u0142awek \u0141ukasik (NS Bikes) in the first race in the Elite Men’s category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All Galfer Bike riders use the fixed 203 mm front and 180-203 mm rear Disc Wave\u00ae discs as well as the Pro G1554T or Advanced G1851 brake pads depending on the terrain conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next round of the Enduro World Series will be held in La Thuile (France) on 8-11 June in the same twin race format.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
