Hans Becking and Jos\u00e9 Dias took three stage wins and finished in third place on the final podium in the Elite Men’s category and Enrique Morcillo and Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda S\u00e1nchez finished as the best Spanish pair in the history of the 2021 Cape Epic.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Buff-Scott team achieved its best Cape Epic result ever. The Cape Epic is held in South Africa and, with seven long technical stages and lots of elevation gain, is considered the toughest XC Marathon race in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pair consisting of the Dutchman Hans Becking and the Portuguese rider Jos\u00e9 Dias won three of the seven stages and finished third on the final 2021 Cape Epic podium. The pair took the most stage victories in this edition and went from strength to strength during the race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, the Spanish pair of Enrique Morcillo and Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda S\u00e1nchez also put in a great performance: they finished fifth place in the general classification and in the Top Ten on each of the seven stages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Buff-Scott team’s new Scott Spark RC bike is equipped with GALFER Bike Disc Wave\u00ae DB002W (160 mm) disc brakes and Advanced G1851 pads.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
