Chilean rider Florencia Espi\u00f1eira has achieved victory in the Women’s E-EDR category, while Belgian rider Martin Maes finished third in the Men’s Elite EDR category at the first round of the 2024 Enduro World Cup.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Orbea Fox Enduro team has had a great start to the season in the Enduro World Cup with a victory and a podium finish in Finale Ligure, Italy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Men’s Elite category, team star Martin Maes has demonstrated great speed, technique, and endurance, returning to the Elite podium of the Enduro World Cup. Maes secured third place overall, clocking the second-best time in two stages. This positive start to the season for Martin will surely motivate him for the rest of the races. In the same category, it’s worth highlighting the excellent performance of Italian rider Mirco Vendemmia (WeRide Exept Factory Team), who competed at home and achieved an excellent 4th place finish, less than two seconds behind Maes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the electric bikes category (E-EDR), there was a great victory for the current world champion, Chilean rider Florencia Espi\u00f1eira (Orbea Fox Enduro Team). Flo won with a lead of more than 15 seconds over her closest competitor, starting the season in the same dominant manner as she finished the previous one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In other categories, notable performances include Jordi Bag\u00f3’s podium (Pivot), finishing 2nd in the E-EDR Master +35 category, Melanie Pugin’s 7th place (WeRide Exept Factory Team) in the Women’s EDR category, and Edgar Carballo’s 15th place (Orbea Fox Enduro Team) in the Men’s E-EDR category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
