Galfer, a world leader in high-performance braking systems, proudly announces a new milestone in its international journey: it will be the official sponsor of the QJMOTOR – GALFER – MSI team at a flagship Grand Prix at the start of the 2026 MotoGP World Championship, the Grand Prix of USA in Austin (March 27-29).
This collaboration reflects the natural evolution of a strong relationship built over the years with the team. During this time, Galfer has not only acted as the official supplier of brake discs and pads but has also established itself as a strategic partner, supporting the team’s competitive growth season after season.
For Galfer, this relationship represents a clear commitment to joint development and continuous innovation: the choice of partners is no coincidence, but a long-term investment based on trust, shared evolution, and a common vision for the future.
In 2024, one of the brightest chapters in our sporting history was written: Ai Ogura was crowned Moto2 World Champion with the MT Helmets – MSI team, demonstrating how Galfer technology makes a difference in competition and establishing Galfer as a key technological partner for success.

At the USA GP, the team will officially compete under the name “QJMOTOR – GALFER – MSI”, with riders Angel Piqueras and Iván Ortolá on track, pushing Galfer braking technology to the limit. Every turn, every braking maneuver, and every overtake will showcase the performance, reliability, and precision that only Galfer can deliver, becoming a strategic ally in the pursuit of every tenth of a second and maximum bike control.
“Becoming the official sponsor of QJMOTOR – MSI for the USA GP is a strategic and symbolic step for Galfer,” says Francisco Catena, Galfer CEO. “Our relationship with the team goes back several years as official suppliers of discs and brake pads. Ai Ogura’s victory in Moto2 2024 confirmed that our solutions not only perform at the highest level but can make the difference in decisive moments of competition.
With this important step, Galfer reaffirms its leadership in innovation, quality, and performance, demonstrating how the experience gained in Moto2, crowned by a world title, provides a solid foundation to face the challenges of the 2026 MotoGP World Championship with ambition.
In this context, the bond with Team MSI will be further strengthened throughout the season, with Galfer taking on a leading role as main sponsor in two key Grands Prix on the calendar: the first in Austin, and a second event to be announced the season as a confirmation of an increasingly strategic and consolidated presence in the international motorsport competitions.
