Mario\u2019s great resolution during the most difficult parts was key to win after two intense days riding in the mountains of Lagares (Portugal) among more than 300 participants, 50 of them of Pro level. Rom\u00e1n wins at last at Lagares for the first time after several attempts.<\/p>\n<p>South-African rider Wade Young, Rom\u00e1n team mate at Sherco, finished second, keeping the French brand in the first positions at the start of the Extreme Enduro World Series. Travis Teasdale (Beta) entered the Top Ten in 9th place.<\/p>\n<p>Mario Rom\u00e1n leads the general WESS classification with 1,000 points, followed Wade Young, with 850.<\/p>\n<p>The next WESS event 2019 will be the legendary Tr\u00e8fle Loz\u00e9rien of France, held on May, 17-19, 2019.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Spanish Sherco rider won the first round of the Extreme Enduro World Cup 2019 and his team mate Wade Young was runner-up.
