It was an eventful weekend for the GALFER representatives at MotoGP, with 13 out of 20 riders retiring from the race. Despite this the Moto3 race finished with a win and a second place. British rider John McPhee (Petronas-Sprinta) won his first race of the season, passing the Italian rider Lorenzo Dalla Porta (Leopard Racing). They both ride a Honda HRC fitted with GALFER Disc Wave\u00ae Racing. Gabriel Rodrigo (Gresini Racing) finished 4th, just 2 tenths behind the third. The race was plagued with accidents and only 17 riders managed to pass by the chequered flag.<\/p>\n
In Moto2 Mattia Pasini (Petronas-Sprinta) and Remy Gardner (SAG Racing) had the worst of lucks and crashed when they were fighting with the leading group for a place at the podium. Sam Lowes (Gresini Racing) had to retire too. On a positive note, Japanese rider Tetsuta Nagashima (SAG Racing) made a spectacular comeback from the 31st place at the starting grid to his final 11th place.<\/p>\n
In MotoGP it was a weekend to forget, as all three GALFER representatives (Pecco Bagnaia, Tito Rabat and Karel Abraham) retired for different reasons.<\/p>\n
YUKI KUNNI LEADS THE FIM CEV MOTO3 IN FRANCE<\/p>\n
As usual, parallel to the GP of France there was a Moto3 FIM CEV race. Japanese Yuki Kunni (Asia Talent Team), who uses GALFER brake components, won his second victory this season after starting at the pole and setting a pace that no one could keep up. Daniel Holgado (School Team Estrella Galicia 0,0) was 4th, Carlos Tatay (Reale-Avintia) was 6th and Xavier Artigas (Leopard-Impala) was 7th.<\/p>\n
