Being an official partner of such an iconic championship represents for Galfer<\/strong> not only an important opportunity for global visibility<\/strong>, but also a fundamental testing ground<\/strong> for the continuous development and innovation of its products. Every circuit, every race and every challenge faced by the riders provides valuable technical data that allows the brand to further improve the safety<\/strong>, reliability<\/strong> and performance<\/strong> of Galfer braking systems<\/strong>, reinforcing its commitment to motorsport excellence<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the 2026 season<\/strong>, Galfer<\/strong> will support riders from several leading international and Italian teams, backing both MXGP<\/strong> protagonists and emerging talents from the MX2 category<\/strong>. Among the standout names are the riders of the Aruba.it Ducati Factory MX Team<\/strong> \u2014 Jeremy Seewer<\/strong>, Andrea Bonacorsi<\/strong> and Calvin Vlaanderen<\/strong> \u2014 alongside Simone Mancini<\/strong> and Ferruchio Zanchi<\/strong> from Team Beddini Racing Ducati Factory MX2<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Galfer<\/strong> will also accompany Alberto Forato<\/strong> and Brent Van Doninck<\/strong> with Fantic Factory<\/strong>, Jago Geerts<\/strong> and Rick Elzinga<\/strong> with MRT Racing Team Beta<\/strong>, as well as Isak Gifting<\/strong> with Yamaha JK Racing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the women\u2019s category, the presence of Kiara Fontanesi<\/strong>, six-time WMX World Champion<\/strong>, continues together with the addition of current WMX World Champion Lotte Van Drunen<\/strong>, further strengthening Galfer\u2019s<\/strong> position within elite women\u2019s motocross<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall, 14 teams<\/strong>, 42 riders<\/strong> and 13 nationalities<\/strong> will represent Galfer<\/strong> throughout the season across the championship\u2019s main disciplines \u2014 MXGP<\/strong>, MX2<\/strong>, EMX250<\/strong>, EMX125<\/strong> and WMX<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To tackle the demands of the season, Galfer riders<\/strong> will rely on the brand\u2019s most advanced braking technology<\/strong>. Depending on race conditions, they will choose between the iconic Wave brake discs<\/strong>, recognized for their distinctive design and powerful<\/strong>, consistent<\/strong> and highly modulable braking<\/strong>, and the innovative Disc Shark\u00ae discs<\/strong>, developed to withstand the most extreme thermal stresses<\/strong> under any track condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All riders will also use the Racing G1396R sintered brake pads<\/strong>, developed with an advanced compound introduced in 2024<\/strong> and scheduled to become available to all enthusiasts in 2026<\/strong>. A global calendar for a demanding season<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The MXGP 2026 season<\/strong> is set to be long, intense and highly competitive, featuring a calendar of 19 Grands Prix<\/strong> across five continents<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The championship will begin on March 8<\/strong> in Bariloche (Argentina)<\/strong>, followed by European rounds in Spain<\/strong>, Switzerland<\/strong> and a double event in Italy<\/strong>. During the summer months, riders will compete in France<\/strong>, Germany<\/strong>, Latvia<\/strong> and Portugal<\/strong>, before traveling to South Africa<\/strong> and Great Britain<\/strong>, facing both iconic circuits and new challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
