BRAKE DISCS<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

GALFER \u201cDisc Wave\u00ae<\/strong>\u201d brake discs are designed for an Adventure enthusiast who alternates normal road use with more racing-style riding on all types of off-road terrain. One of its main features is the design of its \u00abWave\u00bb brake rotor surface which works with improved air circulation<\/strong> (cooling), a weight reduction<\/strong> of 15-25% compared to round discs and an increase in grip capacity<\/strong> (bite), thus improving braking features and performance. Furthermore, these discs differ aesthetically<\/strong> from traditional round OEM discs. GALFER offers floating Disc Wave\u00ae discs (CW-FLW<\/strong>) for the front axle and fixed Disc Wave\u00ae discs (W<\/strong>) for the rear axle for most trail bike models on the market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These \u201cDisc Wave\u00ae\u201d discs were conceived, developed and patented by GALFER in the 1990s and are still in use today thanks to their innovative and continually evolving designs. They are manufactured with a single design line using materials of the highest quality, providing performance of the utmost excellence. It should also be noted that the \u201cDisc Wave\u00ae\u201d disc has German T\u00dcV KBA type approval<\/strong> (No. 61147 – 61148).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The new Racing G1396R and G1375R sintered pads<\/strong> are characterised by their powerful, progressive and adjustable braking<\/strong>, their versatility<\/strong> in dry and wet conditions, their quiet operation<\/strong> and the fact that they work at lower temperatures as a result of their ceramic backing plate<\/strong>. Because of the roughening treatment they receive, GALFER brake pads only need a very short running-in period, which helps them to align quickly with the disc, thus avoiding possible initial crystallisation problems. Also the brake pads have the certification ECE R-90<\/strong> for all its compounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
