Toni Bou and Emma Bristow won the TrialGP at Charade (France) in the Men’s and Women’s categories, consolidating their position as leaders in the overall standings of the 2021 World Championship.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course for the third round of the top Trial competition was quite difficult and technical following the heavy rain that fell before the races. The participants had to complete the two laps over some 12 zones in muddy and slippery terrain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Men’s category, Toni Bou (Montesa-Honda) went from strength to strength as he rode, controlling the race throughout and finishing atop the podium, 22 points ahead of Matteo Grattarola (Beta), also a GALFER rider. With this victory, Toni Bou has racked up a total of 220 victories in the Trial World Championship and continues to lead the overall classification of the TrialGP World Championship, now enjoying a ten-point lead over the second-placed rider. Japanese rider Takahisa Fujinami (Montesa-Honda) finished fourth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Women’s category, there was another exciting and evenly matched duel between two GALFER representatives: Emma Bristow (Sherco) and Laia Sanz (GASGAS). In the end, the British rider beat her Spanish rival by 6 points on a day of tight finishes on which Berta Abell\u00e1n (Vertigo) was also close to victory and ended up on the podium. Bristow now leads the general standings, 3 points ahead of Sanz after two rounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next TrialGP race will be held in Andorra on 20-22 August.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
