{"id":4924,"date":"2021-10-19T10:39:59","date_gmt":"2021-10-19T08:39:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/galfer.com\/moto\/?p=4924"},"modified":"2021-10-19T10:41:48","modified_gmt":"2021-10-19T08:41:48","slug":"five-enduro-world-titles-for-galfer-in-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/galfer.com\/moto\/five-enduro-world-titles-for-galfer-in-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"FIVE ENDURO WORLD TITLES FOR GALFER IN 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>Brad Freeman has been crowned the new EnduroGP and Enduro3 World Champion, while Laia Sanz, Matteo Pavoni and Albin Norrbin have also won in the Women&#8217;s, Junior and Youth categories.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A great season in 2021 for British rider Brad Freeman and his Beta Factory team. Freeman went into the final round in Langeac (France) under pressure from Josep Garc\u00eda after four consecutive wins, but Brad had a spectacular weekend, winning Friday&#8217;s Super Test and the second round on Sunday to finish 18 points ahead of Garc\u00eda and take the overall championship. Freeman also won the world championship in his category (E3) ahead of Jaume Betriu (WP KTM). Brad Freeman is therefore the new EnduroGP world champion, succeeding his teammate Steve Holcombe, both using GALFER brake components on their Beta: Disc Wave\u00ae RW and Racing Off-Road G1396R sintered brake pads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the other categories, 3 GALFER riders won world titles in the last race: Laia Sanz (Gas Gas) won both rounds and took the overall women&#8217;s championship by 16 points; Matteo Pavoni (TM Boano) took a first and a second place to win the Junior title, 14 points ahead of team-mate Lorenzo Macoritto; and the young Albin Norrbin (Fantic d&#8217;Arpa) won convincingly in France to take the overall title by 54 points. His team-mate Kevin Cristino finished third.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Australian rider Wil Ruprecht (TM Boano) also had a good season, finishing second in Enduro2 and fourth overall in EnduroGP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2021 season therefore produced 5 world titles for GALFER Enduro riders, one more than in both 2020 and 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The GALFER brake component brand was very prominent in the Enduro 2021 World Championship: not only did it help riders achieve sporting success, it was also one of the official sponsors of the championship and had its own stand at the last two events of the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the EnduroGP World Championship ends, preparations for the 2021-2022 SuperEnduro World Championship begin.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div
