Brake component specialist Galfer is aiming to go all out in its 70th anniversary year. The number of riders and teams using Galfer brake discs, pads and lines is increasing across the world’s most important motorbike disciplines in the 2022 season, both on the road and off-road.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Galfer’s 70th anniversary year sees the Spanish brake component brand focussing on racing as never before. The brand has several new additions with the Snipers<\/strong> Moto3 team, Sherco CH Racing <\/strong>Enduro team and Dynavolt-Triumph<\/strong> Supersport team worthy of a special mention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the Track<\/strong>, Galfer will have up to 12 riders in the Moto3 class, 2 riders in Moto2, 8 riders in WSBK Supersport 600 and 2 riders in Supersport 300. Some of the standout names include Dennis Foggia<\/strong> (Leopard Racing), Andrea Migno<\/strong> (Snipers Team), Lorenzo Baldassarri<\/strong> (Evan Bros) and Stefano Manzi<\/strong> (Dynavolt-Triumph). They will all be fighting for world titles during the 2022 season with help from the advanced technology of the new Floatech\u00ae<\/strong> discs and Galfer Racing brake pads.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Galfer will be very well represented in the EnduroGP <\/strong>discipline with up to 21 riders<\/strong> competing in the World Championship, including some of the strongest and most successful international riders in this discipline. These include the Beta Factory Team riders (Steve Holcombe and Brad Freeman)<\/strong>, who have won the most recent world championships, as well as the TM Boano with Cavallo, Ruprecht, Pavoni and Philippaerts<\/strong> as well as a new addition, the Sherco CH Racing team with Antoine Magain, Hamish Macdonald, Daniel McCanney and Zach Pichon.<\/strong> Galfer also provides components for the bikes of the Fantic d’Arpa and KTM WP Eric Aug\u00e9 teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Motocross <\/strong>discipline, GALFER will continue as MXGP sponsor <\/strong>for the second consecutive year, Galfer will compete in the MXGP 2022 World Championship with 12 different teams and up to 35 riders. The teams include Beta SDM Corse (Van Horebeek and Lupino)<\/strong>, Honda 114 Motorsport (Fern\u00e1ndez and Fredriksen)<\/strong>, SM Action Gas Gas (Forato and Adamo<\/strong>), Diga Procross (Olsen and Everts<\/strong>) and MRT KTM (Cervellin and Lata<\/strong>), among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To round off Galfer\u2019s participation in the world’s most prestigious off-road competitions, the brand will also support several riders and teams in the AMA SuperCross<\/strong> Championship, including Rockstar Husqvarna <\/strong>Factory Racing with Malcolm Stewart and Dean Wilson<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, in the Trial discipline, Toni Bou <\/strong>and his Hontesa-Honda<\/strong> will once again be leading the Galfer riders as he aims win his 31st consecutive world title. Alongside Bou, will be his new team-mate Gabriel Marcelli<\/strong>. Other teams will also be using Galfer products for their braking, such as Gas Gas, Beta, Vertigo, Scorpa and Sherco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, the number of Galfer riders in the national championships taking place around the world continues to grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2021 season ended with 12 world titles and Galfer’s roster of riders across the various disciplines suggests that the current season will bring huge success and satisfaction that will translate into even more wins in 2022. Galfer wishes all the teams and riders the best of luck for the season and hopes they can achieve the maximum possible victories and successes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2022 season has already started in the best way for Galfer with the victory in Moto3 of its rider Andrea Migno (Team Snipers) at the first of the MotoGP season in Qatar, the second position for Andrea Adamo (SM Action Gas Gas) in MX2 at the GP of Lombardy and the double podium for Lynn Valk (Yamaha JK Racing) and Martine Hughes (Honda 114 Motorsport) in the inaugural italian race of the WMX.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
