The young 16-year-old rider David Muñoz (Boé Motorsport) started the season spectacularly with his first podium (2nd), the third of his short career. Muñoz started from 13th position on the grid and thanks to his determination and Galfer brake products managed to quickly climb into the podium positions on the second lap of the race. Meanwhile, another Galfer rider, Brazilian Diogo Moreira (MT Helmets-MSI) also made a spectacular charge after starting from 16th position, managing to climb to 3rd place for the first podium of his career. It is also worth noting that Moreira had led the first practice sessions on Friday. Meanwhile, PruestelGP riders Xavi Artigas and Joel Kelso were also in the leading group in the Moto3 race, as was Jaume Masià (Leopard Racing), all Galfer riders. In a close finish, David Muñoz took second place, Diogo Moreira third, Jaume Masià fifth, Xavi Artigas eighth and Joel Kelso ninth.
