Lorenzo Santolino took the victory, while his team-mate Rui Gon\u00e7alves finished second, in the Sherco TVS Factory Rally Team\u2019s debut race using Galfer brake products.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a difficult 2,500 km divided into 8 stages and with temperatures hitting close to 40\u00b0C in the Moroccan desert, Sherco TVS Factory Rally Team bikes completely dominated the 2023 Morocco Desert Challenge, taking the top two places in the Rally Pro category. Spanish rider Lorenzo Santolino took a close victory over his team-mate, Portugal\u2019s Rui Gon\u00e7alves, in one of the toughest stage races in the world. The two riders completely dominated the competition, combining to take victory in all of the stages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Sherco TVS Factory Rally Team and Galfer have reached a partnership agreement and, starting this season, the team\u2019s competition motorbikes will be equipped with the Spanish brand\u2019s Disc Wave\u00ae brake discs and sintered brake pads. More specifically, Galfer has developed a special front floating brake disc (\u00f8300 x 4 mm) and a special fixed rear disc (\u00f8240 x 5 mm) that can provide greater braking power and resistance to high temperatures for these types of motorbikes and the harsh conditions they face. Without a doubt, the Morocco Desert Challenge has been a demanding test for the equipment as we look forward to the rest of the season, especially with Dakar 2024 in mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This new partnership in the Rally Raids further consolidates the excellent and extensive relationship between Sherco and Galfer, who already collaborate with the EnduroGP, Extreme Enduro and TrialGP teams (Sherco Factory), as well as with the original assembly of Galfer brake discs on Sherco motorbikes as an OEM brand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
