Spanish rider Jaume Masi\u00e0, from the Leopard Racing team, has achieved his first victory of the season in the Moto3 category with an impressive overtaking maneuver in the penultimate corner of the Assen circuit in the Netherlands.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Assen Grand Prix served as the eighth round of the MotoGP World Speed Championship and took place under stable weather conditions, allowing the Galfer Moto3 riders to shine throughout the weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As usual, the Moto3 category was highly competitive. In Saturday’s qualifying session, two Galfer-equipped riders secured the top two positions on the starting grid. David Mu\u00f1oz of the Bo\u00e9 Motorsport team claimed the pole position and set a new circuit record, while Joel Kelso of the Pr\u00fcstelGP team qualified in second place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Sunday’s race, a leading group of ten closely-matched riders formed, constantly exchanging positions. Among them were four Galfer representatives: Jaume Masi\u00e0 (Leopard Racing), David Mu\u00f1oz (Bo\u00e9 Motorsport), Romano Fenati (Snipers Team), and Joel Kelso (Pr\u00fcstelGP). Ultimately, in the final lap, Jaume Masi\u00e0 managed to prevail with an impressive overtaking maneuver in the penultimate corner, securing his first Moto3 victory of the season. Meanwhile, David Mu\u00f1oz and Romano Fenati had a minor incident while fighting for a place on the podium, which relegated them to 5th and 8th positions, respectively. Australian rider Joel Kelso had to settle for 9th place at the end of the race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this victory, Jaume Masi\u00e0 now sits in second place in the overall Moto3 championship standings with a total of 109 points, just 16 points behind the championship leader Daniel Holgado, who failed to score points in Assen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Moto2 category, Bo Bendsneyder of the SAG Team was unable to participate in his home race due to injuries sustained in the previous Grand Prix. Meanwhile, his teammate Taiga Hada finished in 21st position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Galfer-equipped riders use JCW1 floating brake discs with Floatech\u00ae technology, combined with the Racing G1310 sintered brake pads, which provide exceptional performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next MotoGP event will take place at the Silverstone Circuit in the United Kingdom from August 4th to 6th, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
