The 2025 MXGP of Castilla-La Mancha<\/strong> will be remembered as a historic moment for Fantic and Galfer<\/strong>, with Glenn Coldenhoff and Andrea Bonacorsi<\/strong> achieving the Italian brand\u2019s first-ever podium finishes in the premier class of world motocross.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Heavy rainfall ahead of the season\u2019s first European Grand Prix<\/strong> turned the C\u00f3zar (Spain) circuit<\/strong> into a true battleground. But neither the mud nor the extreme conditions stopped Galfer\u2019s MXGP riders<\/strong> from delivering their best, relying on the precise and powerful braking<\/strong> of Disc Wave\u00ae and Disc Shark\u00ae, paired with Racing G1396R sintered brake pads<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the first race<\/strong> of the MXGP class, the best Galfer rider was Glenn Coldenhoff<\/strong>, securing a solid 4th place<\/strong>and demonstrating strong pace on the tough terrain. However, the real show came in race two<\/strong>, where Andrea Bonacorsi finished 2nd, Glenn Coldenhoff 3rd, and Brian Bogers 4th<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This historic result meant that Coldenhoff and Bonacorsi stepped onto the final GP podium<\/strong>, marking a major milestone<\/strong> for the brand and a huge leap forward<\/strong> in the 2025 season<\/strong>. Additionally, Isak Gifting (Yamaha JK Racing) finished 6th<\/strong>, and Brian Bogers (Fantic) took 7th place<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the championship standings<\/strong>, Glenn Coldenhoff now sits 4th with 79 points<\/strong>, while Andrea Bonacorsi is 6th with 56 points<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Glenn Coldenhoff: <\/strong>\u00abFantic has made a huge step forward and has worked really hard over the past year. I feel like we\u2019re working very closely, and we have a highly motivated team behind us. They bring so much energy! Our bike is really good, and I managed three great starts \u2013 that was key this weekend. The conditions were incredibly tough, but we pulled it off. Second overall and my first podium in two years \u2013 it feels amazing! I\u2019m happy for the entire Fantic team, with Bona on the podium with me and also for Brian, who finished fourth in race two and has great pace. I think it\u2019s going to be a big year for Fantic. A huge thanks to the whole team, especially the mechanics \u2013 they\u2019re the real winners this weekend.\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andrea Bonacorsi: <\/strong>\u00abI don\u2019t know what to say \u2013 it\u2019s simply incredible! It was a really tough day for everyone, but in the end, hard work pays off.
