Types of Galfer bike adapters

You can find SB caliper adapters and CB wheel adapters.

SB: brake caliper adapter for oversized discs with a Postmount (radial) mounting system for MTB and Flatmount mounting for Road/Gravel. Postmount models are installed using 4 bolts, 2 secured to the brake caliper and 2 secured to the fork (front) or bike frame (rear). This provides greater rigidity and safety during installation, minimizing possible vibrations or noise. Each adapter includes two bolts. Installation by a specialist is recommended. Axial spacer mounts (IS system) should not be used for discs larger than ø180 mm. Galfer accepts no responsibility for damage resulting from improper installation. The following table shows the conversion from the original fork or frame size (without original adapters) to the larger disc size:

CB: adapter that allows 6-bolt brake discs to be mounted on wheels with Center Lock hubs. The CB001 model is universal, except for Fulcrum AFS wheels, which use the CB003. Each adapter consists of two black anodized machined aluminum pieces and a metal washer to secure the disc. Installation is quick and easy and only requires a specific tool for the external or internal Center Lock thread. Suitable for all wheel hubs, both large diameters (15–20 mm) and small diameters (9 mm).
MG: magnet for the speed sensor on electric bikes, installed inside the rear brake disc or on its bolt mounts. The MG003 disc magnet is installed using a retaining ring inside the brake disc hole, while the MG001 and MG002 magnets are installed using two bolts that secure the disc to the wheel.
BL: lightweight stainless steel bolt kit with a Torx tightening system. The BL001 kit contains 6 M5 bolts for installing brake discs. The BL003 kit consists of 2 M6 bolts compatible with brake calipers and adapters.
95998A02: Bicycle brake cleaner with a solvent-based, fast-evaporating formula that leaves no oily residue. Specially formulated for cleaning discs, pads, calipers and brake adapters. It does not affect rubber, plastic, aluminum or carbon and is compatible with all bike components.
